Hi greatest memory was finishing the 100 butterfly with a new best personal record. That love of swimming made all the difference when he rescued a woman from a shark attack while working in Hawaii on Jan 2. The Stoughton native was profiled on the ABC television show “Good Morning America” the next day after receiving a whirlwind of attention from admirers both on the island and around the country. “It just started off like a normal morning for me,” said Romano, 26, in a phone interview from Hawaii.
