A 2,000-strong group of residents determined to keep the streets of Spalding clean have been given a boost.
The Wombles of Spalding Common, who have been litter picking in the town since the start of the year, have been delighted by
donations of equipment and funds, enabling them to carry out their hard work.
Amongst the donations received, was £1,000 from South Holland District Councillors Manzur Hasan, Angela Newton, Rob Gibson and Anthony Cronin, who have been impressed by the groupâs work.
