Former Delhi deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia s bail plea was dismissed by a Delhi court in the Delhi excise policy case. The court criticized Sisodia and other accused for making efforts to delay the trial, calling their actions a "concerted effort." It disapproved of the delay caused by the accused in inspecting unrelied documents and rejected Sisodia s claim that the prosecution was deliberately delaying the trial.
