A 32-year-old farmer, father of four children, was beaten to death over an alleged affair in Muli taluka of Surendranagar district. The deceased, Mahesh Bavaliya, was assaulted by Jayanti Vavaliya and others due to suspicion of an affair with Jayanti's wife. The incident led to Mahesh's tragic death.
A man died after being struck by lightning at Subrahmanya in Kadaba taluk. The incident occurred while he was collecting arecanuts that had been left out to dry in the yard of his house.
