good evening, everyone, i m erin burnett. outfront tonight, capitol hill s dangerous game of jenga. we re going to play in a movement. let me explain. we came across a report today that, frankly, made us roll our eyes. i said the word vile out loud. here was the line. quote, congress said to delay automatic budget cuts until march. in other words, congress is now trying to get out of its self-imposed deadline of january 1st. that is when our leaders in washington, either have to find ways to cut the deficit by $1.2 trillion or face automatic across-the-board spending cuts equal to that amount. now, those automatic cuts are designed to hit in the worst places. places that you would not make quick cuts to solve the spending problem. poorly designed, on purpose. bipartisan reports say those cuts could cost over 1 million american jobs. but instead of that terrible situation forcing congress to say, you know what, we re going to find a better, smarter set of cuts, we ....
well, good evening, everyone, i m erin burnett, and outfront tonight, show me your papers. show them to me. four simple words, that mean a lot tonight in arizona and around the country. depending on how you look at it or whose spin you believe, the supreme court s ruling today on the controversial arizona immigration law gave both sides reason to declare victory. the president came out and said he s pleased with the ruling because after all, the justices said the federal government not individual states has the sole power to enforce laws against illegal immigration. the court struck down three provisions of arizona s law. arresting someone without a warrant requiring people to carry i.d., and criminalizing the work of undocumented workers. but here s the rub, the justices upheld something crucial. requiring police to determine immigration status during a lawful stop. in other words, well, show me your papers. and if you re saying that sort of contradicts not carryin ....

and deadly vengeance, hooking and killing young, smart, and mostly white suburban kids. good evening, everyone. i m don lemon. we want to get you up to speed. we want to get you updated. we ve learned sandusky s defense team plans to appeal his conviction for child section abuse on the grounds that sandusky had ineffective council. we ve also learned that if the judge agrees to hear an appeal, attorney joe amendola would step aside as one of sandusky s attorneys and would testify for the defense. sandusky s other attorney told listeners on a radio program saturday that he an amendola had asked to withdraw from the case before jury selection saying they didn t feel adequately prepared to defend sandusky. the judge denied that request. under pennsylvania law, sandusky s attorneys cannot file an appeal until after sentencing. sandusky is scheduled to be sentenced in about three months. he was convicted friday night on 45 counts of sexually abusing ten children over 15 ye ....
