Another 5mm to 10mm fell north of the Rangitata River in the 24 hours to midday Monday, but no out-of-river flooding was reported. The Selwyn District Council advised residents on the Springfield water supply that they could consume their water again but needed to boil it first due to continued high turbidity in the supply.
