KARACHI: Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), appreciated the role of the Airport Security Force in aviation security and hoped that the new entrants, including women, would further strengthen the ASF. He was speaking at the 48th Basic Aviation Security Course passing out parade held at Airport Security Force Academy here. A large number of serving and retired officials and families of passing-out trainees witnessed the parade. The COAS said that training of ASF trainees would enhance the standards of aviation security in Pakistan. He expressed satisfaction with the training and performance of the ASF trainees and also appreciated participation of women in the force.
