The Finance Authority of Maine approved financing for two projects last week: a new veterans' residential care facility in Augusta, and a library renovation in Millinocket.
The bill would use Medicaid dollars to reimburse the homes with an increased per patient daily rate for services to residents. That would provide the homes with an additional estimated $3.4 million.
