KOTA BHARU: It may have been easy for the authorities to ask teachers to carry out classes online but for many poor families, it has become a nightmare.
Take the family of Hasyani Mat Jusoh and her five children for instance. Since school began last Sunday, the siblings have been sharing her smartphone to study via teaching and learning at home (PdPR).
Hasyani, 42, said her family is among the poor who are finding it difficult to adapt to online learning, which is held from 8am to 12.30pm.
