On Tuesday, June 14th, at 6:00 p.m. central, the LaSalle Public Library will virtually host Madison Steele, Coordinator of Learning Experiences from the National Constitution Center, for a virtual tour of the Center’s exhibit, “The Story of We the People.” <br/><br/>Madison will guide the audience through 250 years of constitutional history, from the period before the Revolution to Present-Day, highlighting historic elections, landmark Supreme Court cases, and momentous events like the Civil War and Prohibition, revealing how the U.S Constitution is as important today, as it was in 1787.
