It was the Pirates ninth win in a row.Mark Birdsall/Huron Daily Tribune HARBOR BEACH – It was more of the same on Tuesday night as the Harbor Beach girls basketball team won yet another game, this time beating the Marlette Red Raiders, 47-18. The Pirates have won nine games in a row. Harbor Beach is now 9-1 overall and 9-0 in conference play. Leading the way for the Pirates on Tuesday were Maya Pfaff with 14 points and Paige Anderson, Maddie Geiger and Leandra Wolschleger with 9 each.

The Pirates’ week started on Monday with a road game at Brown City. They traveled to Capac on Wednesday for a game against the Chiefs. That’s a lot of miles on a school bus. Harbor Beach then wrapped up the week on Friday night  with a home game against Sandusky and ran its winning streak to eight in a row with a 41-24 victory over the Redskins.  Harbor Beach is now 8-1 overall and 8-0 in conference play.

Harbor Beach girls extend win streak to seven games FacebookTwitterEmail CAPAC – The Harbor Beach girls basketball team’s winning streak reached seven games on Wednesday night as the Pirates picked up another win on the road, this time a 58-13 victory at host Capac. The Pirates are now 7-1 on the season and 7-0 in conference play. Harbor Beach’s only loss of the season came Feb. 11 on opening night, when the Pirates fell to USA on the road, 24-23. Leading the way for the Pirates on Wednesday night were Leandra Wolschleger with 15 points, Maddie Geiger with 11, Brenna Bischer and Maya Pfaff with 9 each, Mariah Jahn with 6, Paige Anderson with 5 and Taryn Arntz with 3.
