Five recent St. Vrain Valley School District graduates were recognized by Longmont's American Legion Post 32 for their unique stories, perspectives and desires to enact positive change.
The “matriarch of Lyons” is now a permanent part of Lyons Middle/Senior High, as the school dedicated its auditorium to the late LaVern Johnson this week.
The Longmont High School gym was filled with the pounding of percussion on Saturday during a Rocky Mountain Percussion Association drumline competition, with local winter ensemble the Longmont Combined Schools Drumline taking home the highest score.
