The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) issued a $10,000 reward for information that could lead to the whereabouts of 18-year-old Naomi Irion who is believed to have been kidnapped. The Lyon County Sheriff's Office also arrested the suspected kidnapper, 41-year-old Troy Driver, in relation to the case.
Ken Furlong and eight other Nevada sheriffs have signed on to a letter, along with a total of 274 sheriffs across the U.S., blaming President Joe Biden for criminals, drug dealers and gang members coming illegally into the U.S.
Furlong confirmed his signature on the letter Friday saying the National Sheriff’s Association put the letter together.
Also listed as signing the letter are Churchill County Sheriff Richard Hickox, Douglas County Sheriff Dan Coverley, Elko County Sheriff Aitor Narvaiza, Lander County Sheriff Ron Unger, Lyon County Sheriff Frank Hunewill, Nye County Sheriff Sharon Wehry and White Pine County Sheriff Scott Henriod.
