The Fargo Human Rights Commission questioned the efficacy of the Fargo Police Department's internal investigation into racial profiling as well as The Forum's coverage of the investigation.
“I do not look like Johnny Cooper other than my hair,” Michael Wiles said. “If me and Johnny Cooper were to stand side by side, we would not be twins. They would be able to distinguish both of us.”
“Sometimes I wonder myself if there is even a need for a police oversight board anymore,” member Scott Paul said. “I don’t feel like we have any value to the Fargo Police Department at this point.”
