12/13/2020 5:47:25 AM Frances G. Steward, 84, passed away at 5:02am on Friday, December 11, 2020, at her residence. She was born on February 9, 1936, in Brighton, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Mellenthin) Caffery. She married Louis C. Steward, Sr. on July 18, 1952, in Cottage Hills, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 2005. Survivors include two sons and daughters in law: Louis “Chuck” and Sharon Steward of Cottage Hills, Terry and Angel Steward of Cottage Hills, five grandchildren and their spouses: Kenneth and Annette Steward, Keith and Amy Steward, Korey and Kim Steward, Kyle and Megan Steward, Kayla and Dan Friedel, five great grandchildren: Jacob Steward, Avery Steward, Kendyll Steward, Parker Steward, Tanner Steward, a sister: Mary Barks of Wood River, a brother and sister in law: James and Pat Caffery of Godfrey, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
