Under 30s may get Covid vaccines before 30-50 year olds under new plans being considered to slow infections

YOUNG people under the age of 30 may get vaccinated earlier in a bid to slow the spread of Covid-19, under new proposals being considered by the Department of Health.
Health Minister Stephen Donnelly has asked officials to consider amending the vaccine priority list so that younger people in the 18-30 cohort would get the jab sooner than those aged 30-50, once the over 60s are vaccinated.
