areas. petito and laundrie had been on a cross country road trip visiting the country s national parks. her death is ruled a homicide. this morning northport police returned laundrie s mustang, a car they say their son drove to the trail head for that hike. the parents picked it back up without brian. two days later, and that s when they called police who confiscated the car for several days for evidence. several fellow truckers across the west have now come forward saying they actually ran into petito and laundrie while they were doing their road trip across the country and witnessed very heated arguments between the two near the end of their big journey out west. back to you. sandra: those public observations are everything with this case. that s what s moved this forward. that s what helped find gabby. day five of the search for brian laundrie.
