'Thermometer Museum' proprietor's family reunited with his dog tags

Photo courtesy: Porter family The family of the late Richard Porter, a veteran and the proprietor of the now-closed “World’s Only Thermometer Museum” in Onset, has been reunited with Porter’s dog tags.  Porter, who passed away in 2018, served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  Later in life, he lost his Air Force dog tag on the shoreline of Little Harbor Beach, according to the Harbormaster’s office.
