WORTHINGTON An Adrian man who pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary received a stay of adjudication Wednesday, meaning that he was not declared to be guilty of the crime.
Ashtin Johnson, 21, was arrested in September 2020 and accused of breaking into the Lismore Bar and stealing $55 from the cash register. He was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, both felonies with a maximum possible sentence of five years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine, and misdemeanor theft.
Johnson pleaded guilty to the burglary charge, and the other charges were dismissed. He will serve three years of supervised probation and pay a $1,000 fine, which he may work off through community work service.
