The Smith County Emergency Services District Board of Commissioners voted to proceed with construction of a new fire station in Jamestown using previously approved architectural plans, which officials said provided the quickest path toward building a permanent station in the community.

Innovative Risk Management (IRM), a specialty program management firm based in Dallas and established in 1991, has added four new partners to help secure the continued success of the organization.
Chris Lovisone has held the role of chief operating officer since 2014. Lovisone holds a Master of Business Administration from Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management in Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kan.
Brian Ricci, director of Marketing since 2011, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Angelo State University. He received his CPCU designation in 2005 from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.
