But oakland is not the only city dealing with Pedestrian Safety issues in san jose. A man was hit and killed while crossing a street this morning. The citys second pedestrian death in just three days. And it comes during california Pedestrian Safety month. That house, over 2500, 223 rounds. Reporter investigators say they had 1600 rounds of ammo when they died in a gun battle with police. If you look at the amount of obvious preplanning that went in, the amount of arm amounts that he had, the weapons and the ammunition, there was obviously a mission here. Reporter what exactly that mission was is still under investigation. Police say the guns used in the attack were purchased legally, and the couple, with no known criminal record, are not on their radar. Reporter she drove her car down the sidewalk last night obviously putting a lot of people in harms way she slammed in to several parked cars along the way also hit a building as well, but amazingly enough didnt hit anybody walking down the street at the time. This happened around 7 00 last night on pine street, just off vanness, investigators say two officers opened fire as she drove her car toward them, the dangerous situation began with two plain clothes officers checking out the car at
