Quadring Parish Council Chairman resigns

A council is facing a tricky start to 2021 after its chairman resigned and it found it is missing procedural documents such as a contract for the clerk who has been employed for more than 50 years.
Former chairman Wendy Hawkes resigned with immediate effect from the last Quadring Parish Council meeting citing that she lacked enough support to make the required changes.
During Mondayâs virtual meeting, councillors agreed to join the Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils along with looking at procedural documents as a code of conduct and an employment contract for its clerk Malc Stacey, who has been employed by the council for 57 years.
