Lilliput House Care Home celebrated Ethel Warren s 100 birthday on April 1. Although Ethel s birthday is actually on February 19, birthday celebrations had to be postponed as Covid-19 restrictions meant that residents were isolating in their rooms on her birthday. Ethel celebrated her milestone birthday with visits from family and friends in the home s visiting pod, a party with a buffet, a birthday cake and music. On the day, Ethel said: What a day, I feel so special, I feel like the Queen. Lilliput House s manager, Kerry Mason said: Ethel deserved to be spoilt so we did everything we could to do just that . As we could not celebrate during Covid ,we wanted to go above and beyond to give Ethel a memorable day for her 100 birthday . ....
