Even though she had begun on her own path by joining the Girl Scouts as a Daisy in kindergarten, Corren Watson still hoped membership for girls in the Boy Scouts would become a reality. It was really more of a hope because for so long the country was kind of against letting girls in, so I didn t figure it would actually happen, but I still wanted to be able to be a part of it somehow, some way, said Watson, a 15-year-old sophomore at New Berlin High School.
