Im in london and im video linked to an international panel drawn from each of the g7 countries. The g7, or group of seven, consists of the seven most advanced economies. They are responsible for more than half of global net wealth, and they are all democracies. This weekend, their leaders will be debating some of the most pressing issues facing the world and attempting to lead. To mark the occAsion, we gather together our own parallel meeting with leading figures and experts drawn from each of the g7 countries. Administration. The president indeed marked this national holiday with a deeply personal remembrance and passionate defense of democracy. And thats because this Memorial Day 2021 comes at such an uneasy time in our nations modern history. Biden began the day at Arlington Cemetery with Vice President kamala harris, Secretary Of Defense Lloyd Austin, Honoring Americans who died on battlefields. After laying a wreath on the tomb of the unknown, biden spoke of his Son Beau and veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our democracy. Each and every Day Democracy itself is in peril, here at home and around the world. What we do now, what we do now, how we honor the memory of The Fallen will determine whether or not democracy will long endure. Democracy thrives when the infrastructure of democracy is strong. We are getting a better picture of when but the where is still a question. All of the best estimates have this reentering the atmosphere sometime around 10 00 tonight. The key word is sometime. Some people that are in it are strictly in it because of the hate. Other people are in it for the politics, t
