A Police Services Act tribunal against a Belleville sergeant is to resume Feb. 26.
The Belleville Police Service on Aug. 21 charged Sgt. Brad Lentini with neglect of duty. He remains on active duty as a platoon supervisor, his regular role.

Lentini’s lawyer, Leo Kinahan of Newmarket, has said Lentini was the booking officer on Aug. 6, 2019, when a man fell from a porch during an interaction with police; Lentini was not at the scene and Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit cleared police of any wrongdoing.
