NOAA issued an enhanced risk for severe storms — most likely hail and high winds with slight risk for tornadoes — for North Platte and west-central Nebraska Sunday.
High winds closed highways overnight west of North Platte Saturday into Sunday and caused blizzard conditions in the far northwest of the Nebraska Panhandle.
