A classic Paris apartment receives a bold revamp
Transcending a brief that called for classic neutrals, design duo Le Berre Vevaud composed a rhapsody of colour, form and free thinking for this Paris home.May 10, 2021 11:26pm
The owners of this Paris apartment, Mathieu and Claire, never imagined living in such a dramatic space. Their four-bedroom, 225-square-metre unit is located close to Parc Monceau in the 8th arrondissement, and is at the heart of a property development that consists of three newly renovated, adjacent 19th-century buildings.

Twenty-twenty was truly the year of the home, and as many eschewed urban life for the countryside and some of us hunkered down in second homes or childhood bedrooms, we all grew richly in our personal design aesthetic. That is extremely reflective in this year s collection of VERANDA s most beloved rooms, as configured by Instagram. These most-liked spaces are inspiring, soothing retreats that offer new takes on neutrals, traditional design, and what
timeless really means to us as individuals.
The majority of these spaces were various forms of entryways with staircase ideas, modern wallpaper, or views to the outdoors, making us dream of days where we can offer big, warm welcomes to as many neighbors, friends, and family as we d like one day soon, while the two outdoor spaces offered gorgeous escapes when we all desperately needed to get outside our own four walls and safely enjoy the beauty of nature. We also love the moody, dramatic kitchen that reminds us colo
