Baramulla, March 01 (Scoop News)- The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today chaired a District Level Review Committee and District Consultative Committee (DLRC/DCC) meeting to review the performance of Banks operating in the district and line departments under District Credit Plan 2022-23 for the quarter ended December 2022 at Dak Bungalow, here.
The meeting discussed in detail the progress and achievements made by the banks under priority sectors like Agriculture, MSME, GSS and other micro schemes to weaker sections of the society.
Giving detailed summary of the achievements for the quarter ended December 2022 under District Credit Plan, Lead District Manager, Baramulla Javed Rasheed informed the house that the banks in the district have disbursed an amount of Rs.2326.29 crores to 62379 beneficiaries against the yearly target of Rs. 4272.52 crores to 108729 beneficiaries thus achieving 54% of District Credit Plan, 2022-23.
