A look now at the future of Missile Defense. The center for strategic and International Studies hosted a discussion recently with former defense officials and Global Security experts. Panelists talked about the challenges of Strategic Missile defense, the threats posed by north korea, iran, china and russia. Now it took the United States just 99 days to reach 1 million cases back on april 28th. It took just 17 days for america to go from 4 million cases to 5 million. Sunday was also announced that the u. S. Reported who are than 1,000 daily deaths due to coronavirus for five days in a row. New york, where im standing, continues to be one area of good news in the country. Has the latest. Perhaps a stimulus deal providing relief to so many immersions. Republican leaders and Democratic Leaders emerged talking very optimistically about getting a deal. Kevin mccarthy said they were very close. Mitch mcconnell said im optimistic. Chuck schumer said we are getting closer and exchanging papers and proposals that get to a final agreement. We dont have all the details yet because they didnt want to share the details as they were getting to the final stages of the negotiation. This appears to be along the lines of what weve been hearing about for some time. Money for small businesses, perhaps up to 300 billed 300 billion on the table. Money for Vaccine Distribution, money for schools, education providers and helping with expiring business tax provisions could be on the table. Again, we will see the details.
