Authorities. According to that report, police got a call from someone who knows Garcia Martinez on february 9th. They aranged to speak with garciamartinez and noticed the same van witnesses had been describing sitting in his driveway. During the interview Garcia Martinez said it was a dark colored car which hit 2year old evelyn green. He said that car sped away and he stopped, in his van, to help the little girl and her family. He eventually changed his story in another interview with police, saying while the dark car hit evelyn first, he might have accidently ran her over after not being able to swerve. Two weeks ago today the Emergency Call Center for Las Vegas Metro police failed and today its still not known what caused it. Callers endured dropped calls and long wait times. And add despite the crash theyre confident in the system. Even though we do not know a definitive reason for the destruction of service we do have enough information to better prepare against any future failure of the system simply put our system is stronger as a result of a thorough look into this matter.
