Federated announces scholarship winners
th annual $1,000 Federated/Basin Scholarships. This is the 12
th year that two students were selected. In addition, this year a third student was selected in place of Federated’s Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C., which was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Mackenzie Henning, Jackson, receives a $1,000 Basin/Federated scholarship. Henning is a senior at Jackson County Central High School. Henning intends to go to South Dakota State University and will double major in biotechnology and ag science. She is the daughter of Brad and Ann.
Nathaniel Post, Lakefield, receives the $1,000 Federated/L&O/Basin Scholarship. Post is a freshman at South Dakota State University; he is majoring in agriculture engineering and minoring in precision ag. Post is the son of Eric and Barb. He graduated from Jackson County Central High School last spring. ....
