The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting incident that took place in East Bakersfield near the intersection of Larcus Avenue and Bates Avenue.
Two people were shot at Tuesday night in east Bakersfield while they stood outside their home, according to Kern County Sheriff’s deputies called to investigate.
