Some city clerks' offices are reporting that absentee ballots are coming in at a slow rate, and with the primary election right around the corner, that's cause for concern.

âThe voters will narrow down the choices of mayoral candidates to the top two vote-getters. They will narrow down the at-large City Council choices to the top four vote-getters, and the Second Ward candidates will be narrowed down to the top two, said Lansing City Clerk Chris Swope.
