The Clemson women's tennis match against Florida State originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m. has been moved to 12:30 p.m. The match will still serve as Senior Day to celebrate Eleni Louka and Lana Sipek.

Tigers Drop Regular Season Finale

CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 37 Clemson women’s tennis team (15-11, 3-10 ACC) fell on Senior Day in its regular season finale to No. 33 Florida State by a final score of 4-1. The Tigers were unable to win the doubles point and despite their attempts to mount a comeback, the Seminoles managed to put the match away.  Prior to the match, seniors Eleni Louka and Lana Sipek were honored for their contributions to the program. They were joined by former Tigers Laura Marti and Tate Schroeder, as well as Clemson’s all-time winningest head coach in Nancy Harris.  “I want to say a special thank you to Eleni and Lana for always bringing the best version of themselves and representing Clemson with pride,” said Head Coach Amy Sargeant on her two seniors. After Florida State won the doubles point, the Seminoles secured the next two singles matches to take a commanding 3-0 lead. No. 13 Miami Defeats No. 37 Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – The No. 37 Clemson women’s tennis team (15-10, 3-9 ACC) fell at home on Friday to No. 13 Miami by a score of 7-0. The Tigers came within just a few points of securing the doubles point and were unable to rally for enough singles wins to claim victory. It was the Tigers’ first 7-0 loss of the season.  Dani Medvedeva and Cristina Mayorova won their doubles match on Court 2, leaving the result on Court 1 to decide the doubles point. Despite grabbing a 5-4 lead, the Tigers dropped the match 7-5 and entered singles play down 1-0.  Miami won the singles matches on Courts 5, 3 and 1 to secure the victory with a 4-0 lead, but the remaining matches would be played out. Alexandra Anttila dropped her first match of the season to fall to 6-1 by a score of 2-6, 6-2, 0-6. Tigers Roll in Saturday Doubleheader

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s tennis team (8-1) was victorious in both legs of its doubleheader on Saturday with a 6-1 win over Elon and a 4-0 win over App State. The wins improved the Tigers' home record to an impressive 7-0 in the 2023 campaign. “We take a lot of pride competing on our terms, and our goal today was to compete with confidence and create synergy,” said Head Coach Amy Sargeant. “The first match outside was tricky. Elon are a very competitive team and pushed us at multiple spots today.” In their first match against Elon, the Tigers cruised through doubles winning the point with victories from Eleni Louka and Cristina Mayorova 6-2 and Sophia Hatton and Daniella Medvedeva (6-2). Hatton and Medvedeva continue their success as a doubles pair and move to 7-1 on the season.  The Tigers opened up singles play with a dominant victory on court 2 by Cristina Mayorova 6-0, 6-0.
