Connecticut employers added around 500 jobs in November, an increase largely eclipsed by downward revisions to October gains, according to a Thursday report from the Labor Department.
Connecticut’s Labor Department announced both good and bad employment news in a Thursday report which estimated the state added around 3,200 jobs in the month of September while revisions to August estimates virtually eliminated job growth announced last month.
Connecticut lost 4,600 jobs in June, according to monthly, seasonally adjusted data from the Department of Labor, where officials suggested that much of the month's anticipated job growth had occurred during a stronger-than-expected month of May.
