Scott Winters of Tracy took the lead away from Kylei Keown of Redwood Valley on the ninth lap of the 60 lap main event, and fought off the challenges of Kyle Tellstrom of Ukiah the remaining distance to win his fifth season victory and claim his fourth championship in the North State Modified Series.
