any guesses? good evening and it s great to have you with us here on a thursday night. and we begin with fast-moving developments this evening in the ebola outbreak. tonight, possible new cases popping up around the world. in spain this evening, eight doctors and nurses in isolation. one doctor sounding the alarm over protective gear. and right here in the u.s., look at the map. in the next 48 hours, five american airports will begin screening passengers arriving from west africa. 94% of passengers from the hot zone pass through those airports. and tonight, another major headline. what they ve now done in that dallas hospital, in that room where that ebola patient died. abc s cecilia vega, leading us off. reporter: it took a crew of 15 people a full 24 hours to decontaminate the dallas hospital where thomas eric duncan died. moving methodically through several rooms, sterilizing machines, collecting everything duncan touched clothing, gloves, bedding sending it all to

we begin this friday with the global fears about ebola. the head of the cdc said the virus could rival aids in the health crisis. someone is making a joke about ebola on board an airliner that triggered a massive response. we have tahman bradley. reporter: it was a joke, but no one was laughing. a hazmat team boarded the flight after a passenger sneezed and said he had ebola. another passenger heard and told a flight attendant, and alerted the captain. they were following strict cdc guidelines. you never to want see four guys in hazmat suits. reporter: there are new cases around the world. in spain, eight doctors and nurses are in isolation. so far only one of the workers has tested positive. six u.s. military planes arrived in west africa to help with the outbreak. soldiers at fort bragg are getting training ahead of their deployment. i was concerned about my health, but not really like this one. i m concerned about my health. what kind of diseases can i get? rep
