Seriously, they were probably the only sub shop in America, albeit the biggest, that didn t have roast beef. But that s changing! Last June, Subway dropped its roast beef and rotisserie chicken sandwiches. No one supported that . . . the franchise owners didn t, the customers didn t, only the execs were behind it. So why d they do it? The theory is those are the two most expensive meats. Well, the cheap meat era is ending after less than a year . . . because Subway just announced they re bringing both of those meats back. ....

A Lakewood, Colorado man is making headlines around the country after hanging blow-up dolls in his trees to get back at his neighbor, who he s been feuding with for some time. “It’s offensive to me. It’s offensive to my neighbors. It’s degrading. It’s disgusting and it needs to come down,” said neighbor Rhonda Valdez. Four blow-up dolls and a blow-up llama were hung over the weekend at a home on W. Dartmouth Place in Lakewood. The dolls are intended to be little more than gag gifts. ....

A little girl in Boston is celebrating her birthday this year by giving back. Laila Burgess was adopted out of foster care when she was eight-months-old and she’s using her seventh birthday to collect basic necessities for other foster kids. Her mom, Coleen, says Laila was curious about what life is like for children in foster care and she told her they often arrive with nothing, just the clothes on their backs. So that gave the girl the idea to collect items to donate for foster kids in need. ....
