TOKYO Defending champions China are on the edge of elimination after suffering their third straight defeat here on Thursday in the women s volleyball competition of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Having lost to Turkey and the United States in their first two preliminary matches in pool B, China were outgunned by Russia 25-17, 23-25, 20-25, 27-25 and 15-12 at the Ariake Arena.
