Multiple rounds of rainfall are expected today through Sunday afternoon, which could lead to flash flooding and mainstem river flooding given the already saturated grounds.
Scattered thunderstorms will develop once again today. A few of these storms may become marginally severe, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.
A stalling frontal boundary near the Kansas state border will increase the potential for training storms which could produce areas of locally heavy rainfall.
