that s the part that, for me, i just say, let s do something now. let s be united and do something. yeah. i understand. i want to play for you something that senator chuck schumer said about this, about people showing up outside the homes of public officials, basically, he was saying it comes with the territory. so, listen to this. there s protests three, four times a week outside my house. that s the american way to peacefully protest is okay. and so, do you agree that peacefully protesting outside of a judges , say, or a supreme court justice s home is okay, or you re uncomfortable? listen, i respect senator schumer so much. i have a lot of respect for all members of congress. the fact of the matter is, judges are in an unique situation. we re on the front line protecting democracy every single day. the numbers have shown, this is not hyperbole, we are literally taking the bullets to protect democracy and the rule of law. my son paid for it with his life. judge left

suggest. we re working aggressively in five different areas. those include reducing energy costs, reducing transportation logistics snarl-ups in the supply chain, reducing kitchen table costs, reducing the budget deficit. the president was stating facts there and increasing labor supplies. each of those are agenda items that we re focused on to help household budgets. martha: the white house headline the wall street journal headline says that inflation stays in the heights. the combination of blow-out spending and easy money is punishing workers. we had a 1.9 trillion covid relief bill. some say when you look at the deficit issue, one of the reasons it would come back when you start to back off the covid spending and that that is actually what is happening, it s not sort of, you know, a big achievement. it s the natural course of
we re now using to buy covid booster shots and more antiviral pills. i refuse to let them stand in the way of this recovery and now my focus is on keeping this recovery strong and durable, not withstanding republican obstructionism. because, you know, i know that even as jobs and families incomes recovered, families are still feeling the pinch of prices and costs. so we re taking that on as well. and that s the the way to do that is not to step back from the economic progress we made. but to build on it. i laid out a three-part plan, to address costs families are facing. one, first part of that plan, fixing the supply chain. two, protecting consumers and promoting competition. three, lowering kitchen table costs and including with my build back better act.
