Adair County crosses 2,300 total COVID cases

The COVID-19 case count for Adair County now stands at 2,302 following an update Tuesday by the Adair County Health Department.
Only one case was confirmed over the weekend, six on Monday and four more Tuesday. As of today, 30 cases are active, 2,252 people have left isolation following a positive COVID-19 test, and there have been 20 COVID-related deaths.
Three are in the higher education sector and two reside at addresses with at least one other confirmed case. Four cases confirmed today include females ages 27 and 56, and males ages 23 and 52. One is in the higher education sector. An 11-year-old female whose case was reported in December 2020, was removed from the Adair County case count upon the determination that she resides in Putnam County.
