It is not too late to get creative and take part in the Penrith and Eden Window Wanderland initiative. Suggested by the Penrith Chamber of Trade and Commerce and Eden Valley Artistic Network, the idea is to create stunning window displays to brighten up the dark winter nights. Free packs are available to collect from Penrith library in order to take part and produce an impressive window effect. Penrith Library are currently still giving out the packs, so that a window display can be created. Packs supply materials for creating the window including tissue paper, black sugar paper, a glue stick and a ‘How to’ guide.
