State Highway 3, Ōtorohanga is closed between Cherry Road and Kio Kio Station Road following a crash. The crash involving two vehicles was reported to Police at 11:55am. One person is trapped in avehicle and Fire and Emergency are working to extract them. .

District: Waikato Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on Ouruwhero Road near torohanga. Police were advised at 7.10am that a car had crashed on a bridge, between Kakamutu Road and Kio Kio Station Road, blocking both lanes of the bridge. The driver is reported to be critically injured.
