(FARGO) A drag performance at Fargo’s Red River Market in Broadway Square has caused concern among some citizens in Fargo and Moorhead. “I'm extremely disappointed in the Fargo Park District for allowing Red River Market to host an open to the public drag show for kids,” concerned Fargo parent Cassie Schmidt told WDAY Radio News.
The program has been used in juvenile cases since 1998, but this was the first time in Cass, and possibly the state, that it was used for an adult criminal case before sentencing.
The victims argued for jail time saying distracted driving is the same as drunk or drugged driving but the judge said it doesn't rise to the same level of "egregious."
Jason Olsonoski also participated in restorative justice, during which he met with injured victims and family members of those who died in the crashed.
