British police have been giving details of the man theyve arrested over an attack that saw three people stabbed to death in a park in reading, some 60 kilometres from london. Their suspect has been named as Khairi Saadallah. Security sources have told the bbc that he was on their radar, having come to their attention in 2019. That happened after they received information that he hoped to travel abroad potentially for terrorism. But after an investigation, it was decided that no genuine threat or immediate risk was posed, and no more action was taken.
