health crisis from the covid lockdowns. the media and teachers unions said we have to get the kids back in school. those chickens are coming home to roost now. boy, are they. for a year and a half we have been talking about the damage to children from keeping them at home. i pointed out many months ago. you are more likely to spread covid at home among families. in school you can test kids and monitor this and do mitigating strategies. this was not a surprise. there was a study in august that said twice as much anxiety and depression in kids due to decreased mobility. kids sit home and look at social media and feel insecure.
by her child, kicked her child underneath the table. absolutely. this is amazing. humans are addicted to all the technology. really destroying the fabric of families or not. phones came to the world because they need ad purpose. to communicate, get business done. emergencies taken care of. now it is just part of you. it is your social second half. and what is happening is, you see it all the time. kids sit on the table or couple sit on the table. everybody goes through their cell phone. constantly looking at it. i don t know what the hell they re looking at it. but always looking at it. this affects interaction of parenting. ultimately this will be really be very bad for families in the future. jenna: seven out of 10 surveyed right. jenna: checked their phone at one point or another. three out of 10 were on it continuously, but seven out of 10 took look at it. i ve seen opposite. the parents hand cell phones to their kids to keep them busy during the meal? what do you think about
mrs. schulz for sending the video of bill as an infant. the kids got excited. brooke, you were saying in the green room you hated children and anything that keeps them away from you during the summer months is a good thing. can you elaborate on that? i built a career off of hating children. look, it is quality and not quantity. i think frankly the whole education system in the united states is completely screwed up. making kids sit in their desks and subjecting them to more of this type of education is not the way to go. the smartest thing would be to take the money and take the time and reeducate teachers how to make their lessons more effective. it is important not to minimize that there is many lessons to be learned. i am a huge advocate of summer camp. you learn survival skills. you learn social skills.
