Maybe it is time to step up and fund education. after 30 years, i decided to step out and advocate for teachers in a different way. reporter: cindy, you re a democrat running in house 12, a conservative rule district against kevin mcdougal. tell me, first of all, how did you feel about the video? and what kind of reaction did you get from people in the district? the video, i was extremely disappointed in my representative. i m a teacher and in his district. and that was aimed at, i felt, personally me. he was talking about how we are leading the children and watching them. i m extremely proud how we are teaching children how free democracy is supposed to work. he that video really gave me a lot ofport and gave me an angle of support.
