FOLLANSBEE James and Janet Ford of Follansbee announce the engagement of their son, Evan, to Lisa Alban, daughter of Vern and Terry Alban of New Market, Md.
Ford also is the son of the late Donna Ford.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Hebron High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in 2011 in construction engineering and management. In 2020, she received her master’s degree from Mt. St. Mary’s University in business administration. She is employed as a project manager for Bozzuto Construction Co.
Her fiance is a 2008 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2013 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace/mechanical engineering. He earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2015 from WVU. He is employed by Volvo Group Trucks Technology as a senior engineer.
